Today was a very eventful day in Liberation League history because Andrew Mitchell was set to pitch an inning for the Bandits. He is currently in the New York Mets organization and was granted permission by the organization to get his work in here in the Liberation League. We played at Auburn University and has a combined 1.87 ERA over the last two seasons for the 5 affiliated minor league teams he has pitched for. Tonight the powerful lefty was clocked at 93 mph and his curveball was devastating. He struck out all 3 batters he faced. All that occurred at the end of the game after the score was already inflated. Previous to that the California Dogecoin continued their hitting campaign and seemed to have a bit of luck on their side even getting hits when their bats would break. The Bandits utilized 6 pitchers during the game but the California Dogecoin put up 6 runs in the first and 5 runs in the 6th and between those scoring campaigns it was hard to overcome.
Gasper D’Anna pitched 6 innings and Jonathan Bigley hit his first home run of the season.
